The investigators and consultants on the project all contributed unique expertise. Project staff included experts in ASD, travel training, peer-mediated interventions, adaptations and accommodation for public transportation, as well as stakeholders and interventionists with ASD that helped to maintain the focus on the perspective of the individual with ASD.

Beth Pfeiffer, PhD, OTR/L, BCPPrinciple Investigator
Beth is an Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Temple University. She is a licensed Occupational Therapist. Dr. Pfeiffer is a principal investigator for this project and has been a principle investigator on grants to study the effectiveness of occupational therapy interventions. Recently, she completed a funded study to explore the impact of ecological factors including transportation on adults with ASD in the workplace. Mark Salzer, PhDConsultant
Mark serves as an expert consultant in the implementation of peer-interventions and grant management of the project. He has published over 79 peer-reviewed publications, 11 book chapters, and 247 presentations. Dr. Salzer is the professor and chair of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences. His research has focuses on identifying and eliminating barriers to full community participation of individuals with mental health conditions, including ASD, by enhancing the development and effectiveness of support programs.
